Sanatan Yoga has been founded in the year 2022 by Raveena Sharma with the initiative to teach people the traditional concept of yoga.
The purpose of Sanatan Yoga is to understand the secrets of yoga in the way it was originally taught.
At Sanatan Yoga Studio, we focus on the orthodox interpretation of the teaching. It is a journey of the self to the illuminating self.

Asana Alignment

Correct asana alignment is taught during the class along with a detailed explanation of every asana and then effects on the body, precautions along with Sanskrit names of the asanas as per Yogic Scriptures
We at Sanatan Yoga Studio do not entertain exercises or unnecessary drills in the name of yoga.

Sthira— Steady
Sukha-Comfortable
Asanam — is Asana

So, the sutra states that being steady and comfortable is an asana. This is because asana is not a pose, asana is a state, a state of the body & the mind. When your body & mind are steady and comfortable even when your body is challenged out of its comfort zone, you are in a state of asana.

Savasana

Relaxation technique known as Savasana is performed in the class on a daily basis. It has tremendous benefits and aids in panic attacks, insomnia, fluctuating blood pressure, hypertension, mood swings, anger, body pain, body heaviness, etc. Savasana is most effective when practiced under a Guru’s guidance.

Yogic Deep Breathing

In our ancient times, our yogic would barely fall ill reason being deep breathing techniques that act as an oxygen cylinder in your body. In today’s era, we have forgotten how to breathe the correct way. Therefore, we bring to you the ancient breathing practices that will restore prana energy to your body. It is said that a yogi’s life is not measured by the number of his days but by the number of his breaths.

चले वाते चलं चित्तं निश्चले निश्चलं भवेत् ।
योगी स्थाणुत्वम् आप्नोति ततो वायुं निरोधयेत् ॥२॥

chale vate chalam chittam nischale nischalam bhavet
yogi sthanutvam apnoti tato vayum nirodhayet ||2||

Meaning

When the breath wanders or is irregular, the mind is also unsteady. But when the breath is still, so is the mind and the yogi lives long. So one should restrain the breath.

Lord Shiva gives 112 meditation techniques for enlightenment. We can only know God fully when we reach god or become one with God and this is possible with the 112 techniques through which we can unite with God.
Whether we seek enlightenment or happiness, the key here is to control the mind.
